Our Story

Founded in 1958 by William Santom, a furniture apprentice venturing out on his own, Santom’s began on Forrest Avenue in Bellevue PA. Two years later Bill and his wife, Silvia, completed construction of what is now our current location on Rochester Road in the North Hills. Very active members of their community and church, Bill and Silvia built a family and a following within Santom’s. As the steel industry shuttered in the 1970’s, Santom’s gained more family members and skilled workers who apprenticed and learned the trade. Jack and Jennie LeViere stepped into leadership from within the Santom’s family when Bill and Silvia retired in the 1990’s - and the business continues to be family owned and run today by their children. We are proud to continue the Santom’s tradition in Pittsburgh, and grateful for the opportunity to serve the local community. Every piece of furniture tells a story as it is passed through a family - and we are honored to be part of so many of your stories.
